STNA & CNA Training

CNA Training

Ohio Department of Health-approved STNA and CNA classes prepare students for the State Tested Nurse Aide examination. This program provides a blend of classroom instruction and clinical, hands-on training.

Course Topics Include:

  • Nurse aide roles and basic nursing skills

  • Communication and interpersonal skills

  • Mental health, aging, and end-of-life care

  • Hygiene, grooming, and patient mobility

  • Legal, safety, and disease recognition

Program Requirements:

  • 59 hours of classroom training

  • 16 hours of clinical experience

  • Total program duration: 75 hours

Prerequisites:

  • Minimum age: 17

  • Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for 3 hours

  • Valid state ID (high school diploma not required)

Upon successful completion, students receive a certificate and are eligible to take the State Tested Nurse Aide exam administered at our school.
